This is real art by real artists. I want to have all of them in my house. Come and see Domestic Disturbances Two at the Shop Gallery Glebe. #art #artists #theshopgallery #cool ... See MoreSee Less

We have another audience member who has recognised himself in our Audience Photos!
Phil Dempsey the guy in the pink/salmon shirt.
"1984 was the first time I was allowed to venture to a concert on my own. Just turned 17 and started my first concert at the Hordern Pavilion. Dad then paid for me to to see all Australian concerts that year".

Peter Garret in particular has influenced my thoughts and influenced my thinking on issues that affect myself and Australia directly. The NDP was forefront in opening my eyes on a time where the threat of a nuclear war was a real possibility but the music and Pete himself were the real draw card for me. I remember catching the train from Wollongong and sitting out all day just to be in the front row, Pete was mesmerising and stalked the stage with a presence and energy that still stands true today. Midnight Oil are part of my everyday, the issues the band have highlighted over the years have had a lasting effect on me and my family. I listen to an album everyday and seeing myself in this movie has shown me that the Oils were relevant at my first concert then as much as they are today after my 103rd concert. I will always hold the Oil's as the greatest Australian band. Phil Dempsey
